My dad, brother, and dad's dog Rudy arrived yesterday for New Years. It is officially a ZOO in my house! And more like an escaped Tiger in San Francisco than a petting zoo. Actually, it's going pretty well. Rudy's a barker and Hank still gets scared of himself when he barks, so it's pretty entertaining. AND, Hank is HUGE compared to little Rudy. So, it's pretty entertaining. But, they get along alright for being two dogs who have never lived with other dogs and are both use to running the show. However, Rudy is totally enthralled with Hank's crotch! It's really funny! I know that dogs like to sniff each other out in the crotch to check each other out, but this is BEYOND it, this is more of a penis envy kind of thing. It's really funny. Case in point:
And like a true junior high boy, Hank has NO clue what she's doing, but she's enamored with him, and he just keeps walking around like it's nothing. She is BEGGING for his attention and he has no clue. It's pretty entertaining to watch. BUT, the good news is, we think Rudy's over her lesbian phase now...I'm sure there will be more to come. My cousin and their three kids are coming over tonight for dinner, then is really will be a zoo!
